Four Roads Superior Performance Mix

Crafted in our workshop, we batch and cast using locally sourced materials like sand and cement, along with premium (UHPC) admixtures developed specifically for concrete artisanal use. The result is a compact, refined, high-quality finish.

When reinforced with a combination of glass fibers (GFRC) and basalt bar it enhances flexural strength allowing for casting as thin as 20mm. With reduced weight and increased strength the design capabilities are propelled further to allow longer, thinner unsupported spans and cantilevered edges, which wouldn't be achievable with traditional concrete.

We offer a wide range of colors by adding pigments to the mix during batching. The color runs through the entire piece, making it possible to re-polish and seal it in the future, ensuring a sustainable piece for a lifetime of enjoyment.

Our commitment to using professional food-safe sealers adds extra stain resistance to every piece.

Wet cast Architectural Concrete

Cast on-site with batch plant approved structural mixes come in a variety of finishes and are reinforced with steel, providing the strength required to achieve architectural features such as cantilever edges and floating elements.

  • Off-form acid wash

With minimal processing this finish celebrates the subtle colour differences in concretes natural state.

  • Wet polish

A light wet polish brings to life the sands within the mix

  • Full grind

Surface is ground back to expose the aggregate within then polished and sealed to a matte or gloss finish. This can be done with natural grey or coloured mixes.

  • Burnished

Can be used in furniture, Kitchens and steps. The surface is burnished with a steel trowel while setting to provide an initial sheen finish. It is then lightly polished and sealed to enhance the natural beauty of concrete.

  • Exposed Aggregrate RTU Alpine White

    Exposed Aggregate

Popular in Pavements. Industry leading chemical retarder is sprayed on the surface shortly after placement to slow down the curing process and allow the top layer of 'slurry' to be washed away within 24 hours exposing the natural stones. We work with multiple concrete suppliers to offer a range of colours.
